13 Years Later: A Family Update
It’s hard to believe how quickly time flies—13 years have passed in what feels like the blink of an eye! As we reflect on the incredible journey God has taken us on, we’re excited to share a little glimpse into our lives today.
Ministry Life
David and I are both blessed to serve with Global Youth Ministry, a calling that continues to deepen our faith and expand our hearts for young people. Through this ministry, we’ve been able to walk alongside others, share the gospel, and see lives transformed by God’s grace. It’s an incredible privilege to work together in a role that aligns so beautifully with our passions and purpose. More about that in a future post!
Our Amazing Kids
Crissie Grace is now 14, soon to be 15, and thriving as a high school sophomore. She’s growing into such a wise and compassionate young woman, with a heart for God and a drive to succeed. Whether it’s her schoolwork, friendships, or creative pursuits, she tackles everything with determination and grace.
Daxton is 10 and full of life! If it involves the outdoors, count him in. From climbing trees to exploring nature, he’s happiest under the sun with a sense of adventure leading the way. His energy and curiosity bring so much joy to our home.
Homeschooling and Home Life
Our homeschooling journey has been a constant reminder of God’s provision. Balancing academics, ministry, and family life is no small task, but we’ve seen God’s faithfulness every step of the way. Our days are filled with learning, laughter, and sometimes chaos, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Looking Ahead
As we continue to follow God’s plan for our family, we are grateful for His guidance, provision, and the opportunities He places in our path. Whether through ministry, homeschooling, or simply enjoying time together, we are reminded daily of His goodness.
Thank you for walking this journey with us, whether through your prayers, encouragement, or friendship. We can’t wait to see what the next season holds!
With love and gratitude,
The Caywood Family
